Bluerise bv, (“Bluerise”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides online and mobile services, including but not limited to the Oceanpotential.com website (“www.oceanpotential.com”, “my.oceanpotential.com” or the “Site”), the “Service”. Bluerise is committed to maintaining the privacy, integrity and security of any personal information about our users.
What Personal Information We Collect
Your Oceanpotential.com service works in conjunction with a user account on my.oceanpotential.com (a “User Account”, or “Oceanpotential.com Account”). When you sign up for an Oceanpotential.com User Account from our Site, you are required to provide an e-mail address (which will be used as your login ID), the organization you are representing and your full name. Furthermore you are required to create an account password (collectively the “Registration Information”).
How We Use Your Personal Information
Bluerise uses your personal information to:
- Provide you with the Service;
- Analyze Site usage and improve the Service;
- Deliver to you any administrative notices and communications relevant to your use of the Service;
- Provide you with updates regarding Bluerise and Oceanpotential.com products and services;
- Perform internal market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, and to detect and protect against error, fraud or other criminal activity; and
Disclosure to Third Parties
Bluerise (“we”) collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by you (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except under the following circumstances:
- It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
Bluerise does not ask for or collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. We also do not allow registration of such persons. If we find that such a person has registered and submitted information, we will delete the information and deactivate any associated accounts immediately.
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Cookies are required to login to the Service, but not to view pages when not logged in.
Bluerise uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Service.
Your Right to Delete Your Data
If you would like to cancel your User Account, you may do so by logging into your Oceanpotential.com Account, then clicking on “Delete Account”.
When you request cancellation of your account, your personally identifiable information will be marked for deletion including but not limited your e-mail address and name. This data will be permanently deleted from our database after 30 days. Archival copies of your account information that exist within our back-up system will be deleted in accordance with our normal back-up expiration schedule.
Bluerise may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.
Bluerise may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending an e-mail to the address specified on your User Account or by placing a notice on our website.
